Join Hollywood insider Paul Lazarus in developing your idea for a feature film into a screenplay in industry acceptable format.  Students will receive individual online instruction utilizing industry standard software FinalDraft. Lazarus has instructed hundreds of writing students, from beginners to professionals. In addition to being an award-winning screenwriter, he has served as an entertainment attorney, a talent agent, a studio head, Chairman of the Film Department at the University of Miami and New Mexico Film Commissioner. This course is open to beginners and experienced screenwriters. Suggested textbooks are Screenplay: The Foundations of Screenwriting by Syd Field and Secrets of Film Writing by Tom Lazarus, available on Amazon. Suggested free screenplays on the Internet are Nomadland, Casablanca, and Goodwill Hunting.
