Wendy Rodrigue Magnus, widow of artist George Rodrigue, presents a personal and provocative session utilizing art and storytelling as tools for expanded thinking, emotional growth, and cultural awareness. Held at the Four Season Resort and accompanied by a curated selection of original George Rodrigue paintings from her collection, Wendy leads the class on a journey of illness, death, and grief as a path to living and joy. Learn how she overcame depression, naysayers, and adversity to establish her Life & Legacy Foundation. Since 2017, through her foundation, she has personally visited more than 600 school classes in nine states, impacting thousands of children. Utilizing art and storytelling she sparks imagination, encourages curiosity, and reminds others, through George’s story and her own, that one person can change the world.
