Although based in Louisiana, George Rodrigue’s history with the Santa Fe area is significant within the story of his life and art. Join Wendy Rodrigue Magnus as she shares selections of her late husband’s original Santa Fe-inspired artwork at the Four Seasons Resort. Enjoy this intimate and unplugged art and storytelling experience highlighting some of Rodrique’s connections to the Santa Fe community. Be transported in time to explore Rodrigue’s introduction to Santa Fe in 1986 by his friend Rosalea Murphy of New Orleans, founder of the Pink Adobe Restaurant, with an exhibition of his work, including his paintings of local Native American and Spanish residents, and an iconic portrait of Murphy herself. A New Orleans inspired lunch by the Four Seasons is included!
