Introduction to Chess 2

For students who already understand basic tactics and strategy, this class resumes where Introduction to Chess left off. We'll cover additional tactics like double check, overloading, and zwischenzug. Students will also learn about gambits and sacrifices, as well as more advanced checkmates. We'll get into pawn endgames and imbalances in pawn structure. Students will explore master games from start to finish and get practice using a clock, the final step to prepare for an official tournament!
