Printmaking: Monotype

Come have fun with us in this creative laboratory of printmaking. Both new and experienced artists are welcome to participate in this oil based monotype printmaking class. Monotype is the most painterly of the printmaking practices. We will explore several techniques of basic printmaking including inking, registration, pulling a print, additive and subtractive methods, contact prints, multiple drops, chine collection, collage and more! Students are encouraged to experiment with the techniques addressed and to bring their own ideas and concepts to their work.
