New Mexico Concealed Carry

Develop an in-depth understanding of concealed carry while improving your skills. This class includes mandatory training on firearm safety, marksmanship, and state-specific laws to legally carry a concealed handgun. Spanning 15 hours, this course is required by New Mexico DPS to obtain a concealed carry license. Day 1 takes place in a classroom setting and covers topics such as defensive techniques, legal justifications for force, and safety. Day 2 consists of a live-fire qualification test at a range to ensure proficiency. Participants receive a certificate required to apply for a state permit.
