Lavender has long been celebrated for its fragrance, beauty, and medicinal properties. Join us to learn about growing and caring for this increasingly popular herb in Northern New Mexico. We'll then tour the Santa Fe Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners Herb Garden. Afterward, we’ll move to the in the Santa Fe Cooperative Extension Teaching Kitchen to explore ways to cook, use, and preserve lavender while enjoying a hot beverage and delicious lavender desserts.
