Drypoint is an intaglio printmaking technique where an image is directly scratched into a printing plate with an etching needle and then printed. The versatile drypoint technique requires no chemicals or plate preparation, allowing artists to make plates in any location, including outdoors. In this 2 evening class, you'll complete a small portfolio of prints of their own design. For this class, no printmaking experience is required, and all materials and tools are provided. Provided materials and inks are safe and non-toxic.
