Introduction to Block Printmaking

IIn this class, you'll learn the technique of hand printing relief block prints, from preparation to finished print. Topics covered include creating and transferring artwork to the block, carving the image, mixing inks, preparing paper, and printing techniques. By the end of the course, you'll complete a small hand-printed edition of prints to take home. No prior printmaking experience is required. All materials are provided.
