ClassGraphic Learn practical advice on how to successfully incorporate native plants in your home garden and landscape. We'll cover garden design, plant selection, and maintenance of beautiful native plants that will require less of your time because they are adapted to our local growing conditions (drought, harsh sun, wind, compacted soil). We'll look at examples of flowering perennials, shrubs, trees and some succulents and grasses that do well in Santa Fe. After the slide presentation, we'll tour the Santa Fe Extension Master Gardener demonstration gardens, and there will be plenty of time for discussion and questions. Coffee, tea, and snacks will be provided.
