On-Camera Acting and Self Tape

Learn about acting on camera and how to record yourself or have a partner record you. No experience is required but the class is participatory for all students. Activities include setting up a home studio with lights and sound or specific backgrounds. We cover monologue auditions and taping sides as well as how to slate. You'll learn how to support an on-camera partner during a scene. This class is open to first timers and experienced actors or directors wanting to learn more about how actors work. Our goal is to help with technical challenges so you can pay attention to your true creative self. This practice also benefits vloggers, interviewers, and online influencers.
