Spend the day exploring and photographing what many consider to be the most beautiful valley in New Mexico. Mora Valley has kept much of its Hispano cultural character and agricultural economy preserved over the years. You'll have the opportunity to photograph historic churches and a 200 year old private hacienda. We'll participate in a tour of the last operating spinning mill west of the Mississippi. Throughout the day, the instructor will demonstrate photographic techniques and share historic context with the students. There will be an optional group dinner at the famous Castaneda Hotel in Las Vegas. You must be able to walk safely on uneven terrain for a total of 2 miles during this exciting field trip.
