ClassGraphic This class will discuss the beaver's role in sustainability and biodiversity and include a review from the fall semester class that emphasized concepts such as keystone species, wetlands, ecotones, and climate change. New material on the Fenton Lake State Park beaver dam analog (BDA) project design details, site selection criteria, locations chosen, and permitting progress will be discussed. Future work will be described, including the opportunity for volunteers to help install BDAs.
