WickerWorks Basket Lab

Have you seen a basket or shape you love and want to make your own? Do you have a need or an idea for a functional basket for your home or office? This class provides a hands-on experience for anyone with a bit of experience with basket-making. We will go through the thoughtful process of developing a design, choosing the material(s), and making it! We will be using “stake and strand” and twining weaving techniques. Some basic tools and materials will be provided. You will be guided through the design and planning process and through the making of your basket. Materials that are unorthodox, found, or harvested from the “?eld” (your yard or otherwise) is also possible.
