Chess Tournament Workshop

This course is designed for beginner to intermediate players with limited tournament experience. Students will play mock competitive matches, growing their knowledge of notation, clock usage, and USCF rules. Classes will also feature group instruction, focusing on puzzle solving, common mistakes, and excerpts from high-level games. Students should bring pens and a scorebook to each class for writing notation. Instructors will provide sets and clocks, but students may also bring their own.
