ClassGraphic Felting is the most ancient form of textile art and predates weaving and spinning techniques. Contemporary textile and fiber artists use the basis of the ancient techniques with modern adaptations and have raised this craft to a fine art. Needle felting involves sculpting shapes and figures using wool and specific felting needles. This 2-day workshop will be a fun introduction to needle felting. No experience necessary. Participants will learn the simple and versatile techniques of needle felting while exploring how to make 2 and 3 dimensional pieces with just a few supplies.
