Introduction to Watercolor

Learn watercolor techniques that create clean vibrant paintings. First time painters, as well as the seasoned painter are welcome. Demonstrations will be given showing how to paint wet on wet washes, dry on wet washes and with a dry brush. Traditional and non-traditional watercolor techniques will be covered. Color theory as it relates to watercolor will be discussed. Intermediate level students, while developing an independent vision, will learn ways to improve their painting skills through advanced demonstration, practice, and critique. This workshop will explore all the basic tools and techniques to help you on your watercolor journey.
