Learn about why biking and walking are so important for our quality of life in Santa Fe. Each week we watch a movie and then discuss what we saw and what it means for our community. This week we'll watch the movie World Beneath Your Feet. This film follows someone who walked approximately eight thousand miles of every street in New York City. We'll explore how walking transformed their perspective of the urban environment and social connections. Our discussion will focus on how we can improve walkability and pedestrian safety in our own neighborhoods. This class is perfect for those interested in urban planning and personal health or environmental sustainability through active and mindful transportation.
