Learn about why biking and walking are so important for our quality of life in Santa Fe. Each week we watch a movie and then discuss what we saw and what it means for our community. This week we will watch the movie In The Dirt. This documentary film follows a group of passionate Native American cyclists who attempt to bring the sport of mountain biking to the Navajo Nation. We will explore the challenges they face where no bike shops exist and how they build community through the sport. Our discussion will focus on the power of cycling to empower individuals and foster resilience. Join us to learn about the incredible impact of mountain biking in local indigenous communities.
