On the Road to Chaco, Aztec and Chimney Rock, Overnight Trip

 Explore the Chaco world with archaeologist Dr. Martha Yates on a 2-day overnight adventure. Begin with a preparatory presentation at SFCC’s Higher Education Center to set the stage for your journey. On the first day, travel to Chaco Canyon to visit the Great House of Pueblo Bonito, the Great Kiva of Casa Rinconada, petroglyph panels, and the amphitheater. End the day with an overnight stay at the Farmington Hampton Inn and dinner at Three Rivers Brewery. On the second day, explore the Chacoan Great House and Great Kiva at Aztec National Monument, followed by the 1,000-year-old Chacoan astronomical observatory at Chimney Rock National Monument. After completing your class registration, you will need to arrange your hotel accommodations independently.
