Learn Italian in a stimulating class that combines Italian grammar with cultural activities. Discover the language through newspaper articles, poetry, comic strips, and video recordings to help you master skills in 4 areas of communication: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Participate and interact with the other students in group activities that focus on Italian culture, music, art, and cuisine. You'll gain cultural and linguistic awareness of the Italian language by watching Italian movies and TV programs that portray Italian lifestyle and daily events to understand different customs. Required textbook: Practice Makes Perfect: Italian Conversation by Marcel Danesi, is available online.
