This 8-hour online class is partially aligned to the NREL JTA for a retrofit installer technician. It is considered Comprehensive Training when completed along with the in-person course. It covers information helpful to installers, from basic building science to air sealing, insulation, basic pressure diagnostics and more. The class is video based, so there is not a lot of reading needed. There are also lots of photos to identify correct and incorrect ways that work can be done. Assessments are done by short quizzes.
