Take a journey through time and learn the long history of paper arts and the evolution of collage throughout the ages. See how Picasso and other artists used collage as an element in their paintings. Explore the collages of the Dada, Surrealist, and Futurism movements. See how the Zines of the 1970s and 1980s used collage. For emerging collage artists, come learn about opportunities to exhibit with the National Collage Society in the USA. You'll be introduced you to the world of collage such as the International Collage Exhibition, the Art du' Collage Museum in France, and Kolaj Magazine. Additionally, we'll discuss copyright laws and how to use archival museum quality art supplies.
