Elevate your studio practice in this intensive, advanced masterclass designed exclusively for SFCC Art Academy students who have achieved technical and conceptual competency. Moving far beyond foundational techniques, this immersive 12-hour workshop challenges experienced artists to dissect and resolve complex structural, tonal, and compositional hurdles.
Spanning two consecutive weeks in back-to-back, six-hour studio sessions (Friday/Saturday, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.), you will master high-level value orchestration—executing sophisticated monochromatic studies using Payne’s Gray before transitioning into full color. Through master demonstrations and mixed-media exploration with advanced mediums, masking fluids, and gouache, you will push the boundaries of watercolor to refine your professional aesthetic. Deep analytical critiques will foster autonomous self-expression and elevate your personal visual voice.
