This is a fun and easy hands-on experience for beginners. No experience necessary. Using reed material and a plywood base, you'll be introduced to simple traditional wicker basketry techniques. You'll learn a basic weave pattern – “stake and strand” and will explore ways of shaping a basket form. We'll also cover a few simple techniques to finish a basket edge. Materials included.
