Journey into the tree worlds of the Chumash on this nighttime hike under the stars. You'll hear about the supernatural beings Sky Coyote and Giant Sky Eagle during this session. We explore the story of the 7 boys who turned into geese and more on this enchanting exploration into native astronomy and religious beliefs. Through direct observation of the nighttime sky and storytelling, you'll learn about native tribal cultural history and constellations that have captured human imaginations for centuries. A campfire and snacks complete the evening for all participants. Join us for a magical night of learning and connection with the ancient stories written in the stars above us in the beautiful New Mexico night sky.
