Poetry Workshop

This poetry workshop is designed to grow the unique voice of every student. All skill levels are welcome to join this creative space. Through feedback and discussion, learn how to make your poems stronger. You'll bring a new poem to each class for review. During class, we'll read and discuss the strengths of every poem and how to change the writing to illuminate those strengths. We may also read and discuss some examples of modern poetry curated by the instructor to reflect the needs of the class. You'll receive individual feedback letters from the instructor. The hope of the workshop is for you to leave with revised poems and a deeper understanding of your own poetic skills
