Learn the history and cultural foundations of Taiko while mastering fundamental techniques, essential body stances (kata), and vocalized rhythms. The curriculum covers basic patterns on the shime drum and transitions into full ensemble pieces like Raku and Hiryu San Dan Gaeshi. No prior musical experience or equipment is necessary to join, though you may choose to purchase your own drumsticks (bachi).
