Advanced Blower Door Testing (TEC)
Whether you’re new to blower door testing or you’ve been doing it for years, this 4-hr class will help bring your skills to the next level. Students will learn WHY we perform each procedure as we do and move away from simply memorizing set up steps. In this class, instructors will focus on TEC equipment. If you’re interested in using Retrotec equipment, please sign up for our Retrotec-specific class.

Topics include:
  • Fans, Manometers and Physics
  • Technical Standards (RESNET 380)
  • Units of Measure (CFM50, ACH50, etc.)
  • Pressurization & Depressurization Testing
  • Multi-point Blower Door Testing
  • Automated Testing & Remote Control
  • Finding Air Leaks
